Bumping this because I F I N A L L Y upgraded from my old beat-up stockers, and I'm psyched about it!
Rays gram lights 57Transcend 17 x 9.5 +40
Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R 255/40
Square.
I'm going to add in some spacers in the back to flush up the rear wheels and get them to match the look of the front. I was just a wee bit nervous about the bronze, because you just never know how it's really going to look until they're on the car, but I absolutely love the color. My 5 year old phone camera does not do it justice.

I know this setup ticks all the wrong fitment boxes, but here we go:
Rays Engineering Volk Racing GT-C
Front: 19X9.5 ET+23 Michelin pilot super sport 225/35ZR19 1,15° Camber / slight roll
Rear: 19X10.5 ET+24 Michelin pilot super sport 235/35ZR19 1,7° Camber / slight roll
No rubbing.
Once I kill these tires I plan to switch to 245/30/19 + 255/30/19 pirellis Pzero (slightly wider but slightly lower diameter) by adding a little bit of camber, probably ending at 1.75° front and 2° rear).

The tires I got in 2015, have less than 10k miles on it so I haven't have the need to replace it. IIRC there were only 3 companies that makes them when I got it, looks like Bridgestone no longer make this size now, but Michelin and Goodyear still do and Federal also have them available now.

For wheel shopping you can't beat 105 pages and 10 years of members posting pictures of their wheels along with their specs. To be honest I'm going through it right now as I'm tire shopping and don't want the bubble look.
Edit-
Don't get me wrong I love looking at FD pics but IMO this thread detracts from that other very functional thread that has (and still is) amassed tons of useful information.

18x8.5 +38 / 18x9.5 +38 with 225/40 and 255/35 RE-71Rs.. Fitment is perfect for my taste and the overall look I want for the car. Still, as conservative as that front fitment is, the tire caught my fender lip once on a driveway (see pic).
A close friend ran that setup (same as my rear LMs but at all 4 corners) and experienced quite a bit of rubbing even after various alignment and ride-height adjustments. If running a beefier tire like an RE-71R, then I'd say a fender roll would be required.
