power fc should be one of the first mod anyone should do to there car after all the reliability mods.

You can buy a brand new power fc with the commander on ebay for just under a grand.

I dont think so...it all depends on your mods. If you do all the reliabilty stuff and still run a mostly stock setup the PFC isnt needed at all.
