I’m looking to get another seat to match this current oem seat, but I’m trying to find out what model/year it’s from and about how much I’ll be looking to spend finding another one just like it, and I’m pretty good shape, thanks for any help!

 

Looks like a base trim seat to me.

 

Base seat as in all FDs. Looks a little sun faded. You can get new seatbelt guide straps to fit.

 

Yea idk what happened to the original seat, I have a R1, the other seat is suede, I’d like to either get another suede seat or another seat like that for the other side, what do they usually go for? They seem to be harder to find not all beat up

 

They come up mostly in pairs for $5-800 dollars a set. Sometimes single seats come up here or on YAJ. Might snag a good one for $350 a la carte. The cloth style black seats, like either of yours, tend to be the most valued aside from the RZ/SR seats.

 

Ok good to know! I think I’m gonna try and track down a suede seat, which, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that’s the correct seat for a R1? And also if the release lever is on the inside, does that indicate USDM vs JDM? I thought I read it somewhere but not sure

 

If it's got a release lever, then it's JDM. The suede was for the r1 and the cloth was for base models.

 

Check your local importers. I got a set of the full suede (jdm type r) for about $500. I believe they still have a few sets listed on ebay.

 

Thanks I didn’t think of that! I checked eBay and they have a pretty worn one for 225 and one that looks to be in decent shape for 500$ but I’m sure more somewhere in the middle there will pop up lol
