Dash swap?

Has anyone ever done a dash swap in a FD? Where they put a dash from a newer different car in an older car. I’ve seen a few in high end restomod classics that I can only ever dream about, but I was wondering if it has ever been done with a FD. Just out of curiosity

Probably would be tricky to find something the right size, that would require a LOT of custom fitting and work to make happen. Trying to make AC ducts work, wiring, etc. would be a nightmare.

Also the dash flows into the door panel and the ducts connect to the door panel AC vents. That would require custom work for sure.
