What is this bracket on the TB for?

Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a used throttle body but I see its missing this bracket. Can anyone tell me its purpose and if still available new?
Part number shows 13-W7X as a 'Holder set, throttle body' not sure what that is exactly! I think it connects to the UIM somehow.
Thanks

That looks like the bracket that the throttle cable attaches to.

Yes that looks like the throttle cable bracket BUT for the FD that bracket bolts to the UIM not the TB.
If you are buying a fully functional TB complete with TPS for less than $500 you are either getting a great deal or junk...be careful.

Pretty sure that's for the cruise control. There's another bracket at the UIM that takes both the plastic push fittings for both the throttle and cruise control cables (on RHD at least)......some memory of that particular one being NLA ages ago, so wouldn't be surprised the TB end is gone too.

The pic in post #5 is LHD stock and has cruise control (bracket with square hole).
The holes you are worried about are unused on a stock set-up LHD car.
BTW.....i just noticed that the parts diagram you posted is not the same as USDM TB's. What car is it for?

The bracket in question I believe is for the throttle or cruise cable on a RHD car. Not used on LHD.

It is the cruise cable bracket on a JDM car, throttle cable mounts to the same bracket US or JDM on the UIM.

Yep. If you want to remove it those screws are ON THERE big time. You will need an impact screwdriver - as in the screwdriver you hit with a hammer and it digs in and twists on the screw. Trying a regular screwdriver will most likely just strip it.
