Hello, wasn’t sure if I should post this in the FD section or 20b section. Here is what I’m dealing with though. I did a 20b swap and I am in the process of completing it. I have a RHD FD and I’m running the 20b throttle body. The throttle cable is too short. I measured it at about 43-44” . Is there a longer cable that I could use?
Here, rather than try to fluke a needle in a haystack, you'd just take the existing bowden cable as a sample to a place that makes replacements......and tell them how much longer you want. I'm sure there must be similar small scale cable manufacturers there.
Often find they'll do a throttle or handbrake cable while you wait or in a day cheaper than an OEM part. Just need to know what ends are required.
Just gonna leave this here for anyone else that may be wondering throttle cable lengths JDM vs USDM. The USDM cable fits perfectly for RHD 20b swap/ throttle body.
FYI I took a JDM throttle cable once and put it on a US LHD car, ran the cable under the upper intake manifold to the TB. Looked really clean and fit fine.
