Is there supposed to be an oil cooler undertray?

I'm trying to figure out what underbody protection the FD is supposed to have. Mine doesn't have any (no wheel well liners, no undertray) and I've got a long gravel driveway, so trying to add some protection.

Is there supposed to be any protection underneath the oil cooler? I saw an ad for an "oil cooler undertray" (https://www.ebay.com/itm/124973856233) but haven't been able to find any other mentions. Seems like it would make sense not just for protection but also to keep the air flowing through the cooler.

Any other underbody protection to consider?

Yes. Those in left and right. Also ducts that go on top of that and seal the oil cooler(s).

I found that site while looking for the pic. I have no idea whether they're trustworthy or not.

Thanks for the quick information. It looks like I have the ducts. So then it's normal for the oil cooler lines to be exposed underneath?

As natey already confirmed, there are panels that go under them. The part in your ebay link has a left and right side. It is the "undertray" you're asking about

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I misread Natey's response.

I had no idea the car came with oil cooler ducts... I need to fabricate some for my car. And straighten all my bent fins while I am at it...

‘R’ models also came with simple brake ducts.

I think I'll have my undertray with the 99spec brake ducts up for sale in the next month or so.. Gotta see how everything lines up first..
