Whale Tail Spoiler Wing FD
I don't see much fd's with a whale tail Spoiler/wing. Did they come stock? Are they japan only? I've seen a lot of 99 spec and the one that has 3 openings (I don't know what's that called). How common is the whale tail Spoiler on fd's? Basically, I'd like to get to know which fd's came with this spec and it's rarity.
Any experts out there?
here's a thread of what it looks like: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-gen-general-discussion-322/no-love-96-enfini-whale-tail-1119306/
thanks!

The whale tail is the best spoiler…way better visually than the R or the 99+ wing.

“Best” is in the eye of the beholder. I like them, but it’s just a personal taste thing. I doubt there’s any significant performance difference between it and the standard S6. And only marginally lighter.
Bought mine through from a forum member with a good trader score. IIRC it uses the same inner holes to mount, so you’d just have to close the outer holes. They were never offered on the NADM cars, so a little unusual, but not necessarily rare. Sorry, not great pics but…

unfortunately, only the front holes can be reused. Though, one may be able to cut off the back ones and then make new fasteners further back to make use if existing holes?

Oh! That looks great! If you have the car in hand could you do me a favor and measure how far from the edge of the hatch the back of the posts are, and maybe how far the front of the posts are from the glass frame? I want to make sure I get it in the right spot in case the front holes don’t match your front holes
