Steering column covers?

Just bought me and 93 Touring this past weekend and so excited. Putting together the list of to do but the first thing I want to do is get some the covers for the steering column because car did not have them. No problem i thought...thought wrong! Seems like they are hard to come by? Even checked with Mazda parts websites and says they are discontinued? Dang! Are these things like holy grail parts?

Not sure if that is discontinued but I wouldn't doubt it. Ray Crowe can give you the 100% answer on if it's available new or not, his contact info is on the forum. Great guy and knows these cars backwards and forwards.

They should be available used, you will need to get a US left hand drive cover for your car, the Japanese right hand drive covers don't work (they are a mirror image).

There is also 3 screws that hold it on to the column, 1 machine screw and 2 self tapping screws.

Both the top and bottom halves have been unavailable for several years. They show up in the For Sale section from time to time.

I have a LHD top cover with a RE gauge in it I'm sick of looking at on my desk. Maybe you need a boost/ water temp/ oil pressure/ AFR gauge? Send me a PM if you can't find a cover.
