Fuel Tank Depth?

Greetings! Can anyone tell me the depth of the FD OEM fuel tank? I am looking for the depth of the area where the fuel pump assembly sits.

I have Speedhut gauges installed and I have been unable to properly calibrate the fuel gauge with the stock FD sender, most likely because I have the CJ Motorsports duel pump adapter. It seems to be causing an issue with the float getting bound up somewhere that I am tired of chasing, so I am thinking of removing the OEM fuel sender assembly and installing something like this in its place:

https://kus-usa.com/product/sss-ssl-...QaAlacEALw_wcB

What I like about this style unit is it doesn't use a float arm, so my thought is it won't get bound up.
But I need to know the proper new sensor unit depth to order. Does anyone know? TIA.

The float in tube VDO unit we used at one stage was 280mm long, we drilled a hole behind the hanger opening and had to use an aftermarket gauge for it to function. The fuel tank is not quite stock - no plastic bucket - but it measures 290mm to the tank floor at the aperture.

David- I'll get a measurement toady, I have a spare tank at the shop. The CJ Dual pump set up is definitely hard to maneuver with the factory float!! Even worse if you have a Fuel Baffle / Surge Tank Cover!!

I get 11.5 inches (290ishmm)---- I measured right beside the plastic baffle on bottom metal floor part of the tank to the top of the tank lip where the fuel pump assembly mounts. I think BillyBoy is on mark with a 280mm tube, that should work great.

Thanks so much to the two of you. I am going to order a 280 mm unit and go from there.
