Nothing really too extreme, the exhaust is a bit drone-y, so I'm going to fit a RB Dual Tip at some point. Maybe a tune on the PFC, but its really fun as is, that's why I love FD's.

BC Long Road to the Top

My very first Spirit R wheel arrived by UPS today (thanks rotarypwr!) Unfortunately I had to trade all these other wheels to get it. Just kidding (partly).

I assume you're getting the rest of the set? .

That's from an SR Type B being finished in silver with a silver centre cap. They will look great on your car! I've got 15mm spacers on all corners of mine which seem about right to me.

Thanks for the tips. In the meantime I am contemplating running it with the Voxxs and see if anyone notices.

My car is getting the replacement front bumper painted today or tomorrow. Thought I might get these done too. What is the "Ceylon Solution"?

Should I stay gloss black or colour match?

Correct. That's a Spirit R Type B/C wheel. Type A were shadow chrome.

My friend in Edmonton has a matching single wheel. We are now in a contest of wills to see who is the better friend.

I'd get them colour matched. They are quite flexible and are prone to cracking the paint so it might be worth letting your paint shop know in advance so they can source some more flexible products for the skirts.

Yep, also the type A had black centre caps.

My goal is a Type C automatic replica. With Type R (Integra) Recaro berka-laungers.

Just in Time for Cruisin Season

Just out from the bodyshop with all new front bumper skin, rebar, chin spoiler. Dropped the 99 fogs for now. Very pleased with the paint match and blend in.

Have any of you seen one of these before? It was given to me as a gift. It has 3 sides with the shown writing below on one. Looking for any info on it like did it come with some cars from the dealership or is it a random piece unrelated to mazda. All i know is it was on the keychain of another RHD car imported from Japan

BC Sea to Sky to Heaven

Took a visiting RHD FD from Alberta on an evening cruise on the Sea to Sky Highway.

The road is the main route to Whistler-Blackcomb and seems to be in excellent shape awaiting the return of tourist traffic.

BC Sevens' Day Precursor

Warming up to our planned Sevens' Day events on July 7 and July 11, had a bunch of RX7 show up to a local pop-up meet. Our row was immensely popular.

Yes met the fellow at the above meet and have signed him up! Offered him a few parts, I might add. Member of our group saw the car passing through Golden, B.C. (heart of the Rockies) Friday night. Epic first drive, I must say! Car may make it to Seven's Day afterall. Haha!

Congratulations on the sale!

Bon chance, mon ami!

BC RHD Round About

This little Red 1992 RHD, was actually imported from Florida at no little expense. Took a while to get sorted, but seems to be in form now. One local tenacious high school kid's dream.

Redbul suggested that I post some photos of my 1994 RHD RX7 over here. Just got it this last Sunday (excited). Car has 10K original miles (like 16K km). Never been modified.

Interesting sill plate. Have not seen before. Need battery cover then you are off to the next JDM concours event.

My acquaintance that runs the Crescent Beach Concours says it very hard to get a concours grade FD to invite to enter.

Try to preserve as best you can (imo).

Don't EVFR let anyone attempt to sit in the back seat!

The sill trim looks like the standard one, but with the original plastic peel covering still in place. It seems most FD's were optioned with the metal sill plates.

Hahaha. I never even noticed the battery cover missing. Dammit... now I'm off to hunt a battery cover. Please don't tell me those are RHD specific too

If you find where all the battery covers disappeared to let us know. I believe both RHD and LHD have suffered from the loss.

The plastic cover makes the metal sill plates look shabby. It pulls off though. And surprise, nice shiny sill plate underneath!

Good for the next 25 years!
