NC was the Rx-8 based one that was bigger and a bit softer.

ND Miata is now accelerates like a turbo Rx-7 did in 1990 and revs higher. That car costed more like $50k in today's money when new. Shows how technology changes.
YEs, sorry. I meant ND.

Surprisingly, S2000 prices are very similar to NC (yes, NC, lol) prices here. Most S2000 start around $15k CAD and well used examples are in the $12-$13k CAD range (9500USD).

Most go in the $12-$20k range since they are only driven during the few summer months that we have and all have low mileage.

I daily a 99 NB1 Miata & the weekend/very rare occasion car is the FD. Best of both worlds doing this in my opinion. As mentioned, the Miata just feels fun and fast everywhere I go so driving is a real joy even without driving over any limits. The FD cannot be taken out for longer than 10 minutes without someone pulling up along side of me to compliment it or try and race me : )

PS: I bought the 99 with over 320k miles on it and drove it TO an autocross 50 miles away with a buddy... He AND I raced it all day... and then we drove it back another 50. ZERO problems. What more could you possibly ask for from a car? It also only cost me $2k.
