hey fellow 7 owners. here's my confession. i love my 7! and i love driving my 7 even more. i admit im addicted to my car
. i work till late night and when i get off, theres nothing to do. so what do i do? i drive. for miles on end and admire evey little thing about my car. sure its no were near as fast my last rb powered 240sx, but there is just something about the 7 that, for me, has so much more to love about it. sure it burns oil, has shitty gas milage compared to the rb i had, and its under powered, but the way the 7 handles when im driving makes it feel like natural extensions of myself. its easy to drive and easy to find its limits. for a car being heavier than a 240sx, it feels lighter, more agile, and in some cases, for instance corners, more aggressive. i love this car kuz it fits my driving style to a T. i grips when i want it to and lets out when i need it to. sure i'd love to have an FD, but i have no doubt in my mind that i wouldn't treat/ feel for my FC any differently than i do now. im also not ******* on the 240, belive me, its a strong torquey, and reliable car with a huge after market following. when i had my 240 i loved how i could blow by most cars on the freeway wangan style, and the way a ceramic ball bearing turbo sounded when it was reaching full boost. i like how the BFV sounded when i left of the gas and the roar of the 6 cylinders pounding the ground. but for me, the 240 felt like i was driving a computer. make a mistake and all you get is burnt rubber, scraped rim lips, sliding, pretty much i felt that if i made a mistake, the car made a personal hell or vandetta for me. the rx7 feels like ( now dont laugh) a lady or gentlemen(however you might have named you car)- a very forgiving, needy lady/gentlemen. finessing in and out of the corners is easy, mistakes are easily corrected, power delivery is smooth, traction is readily availible, a happy high redline that gives plenty of room to accelerate and wont give you **** for being and high rpm's, and an overall fun ride. now having an rx7 isnt cheap, we all know that. but the driving pleasure it gives and keeps on giving, is some else i wasnt able to find in other cars i've driven. what more can you ask for? 50-50 weight distribution, lightweight power plant, comfortable ergonomics, great and uncommon exhaust note, easy handling, rear wheel steering, a car with racing linage behind it, low center of gravity, classy design, all the nesecities of basic creature comforts- sure its a little under powered but not all cars are perfect.i love my car. (stands up like in a AA meeting) hi my name is brian and im a rx7 fanatic/addict

i sleep in my car sometimes.... just cause i can...
besides, its just a short walk from my bedroom to the garage.
Some nights i just leave the house doors open, so i can see it from my pillow

couldnt have said it better. I take it your seven is n/a? I have an 88 GTU and feel the same about it. I also started with a 240 (stock truck motor...damn kat haha), I liked deuce, but I LOVE the seven. It can out handle just about anything stock, and the power is decent for an n/a. I like taking mine on midnight runs on Boeing freeway. I got her up to 90 in 3rd. Im addicted to my seven...and when the time comes, il get a 13b-t swap. By the way, a stock 13b-t could keep up with an rb/sr, a 13b-t with an exhaust would smash it.
dont know about the whole pillow thing though.

i have a S5 gtu. i'll be getting into auto-x soon and im looking to either turbo the 6 port or go with a camden supercharger in the future though. not looking for anything to extreme, just enough to be fairly competitive in the event and car class.

sad and i believe it.
do you tuck her in too grae?
i have slept in my rx7 too.
i even too a comforter and slept where the passenger was when it was out.
BTW, you will love your car even more after 10/13.
after the 13th? heh heh yeah im pretty sure i will. btw were can i find the rules or modification restrictions for bscc or is it already on the site? thanks chris ^^
Each club has their own rules. Your best bet (if you want to race with more than one club) is to go with the SCCA rules - most clubs base their classes off of them.
