Hi there!
WOW !!! I have not posted here in forever!!! Well, l am at it again. l have a sunroof rx7 that some one botched up really really nice with some bondo, l'm about to set out on the journey of popping spot welds and prying through sealant to remove the top and replace it with an R1 roof! But mazda does not have the roof reinforcement available any more. There is a structural piece that spans front to back in the center of the roof. Has any one gotten creative and made their own support? what l am referencing is #2 in this diagram.
Thanks in advance!

There are a few threads with people that have done sunroof deletes. I do seem to remember that finding that center bar was difficult. May want to go through the build threads area as well, I think there have been some builds where people discuss doing sunroof deletes and have a lot of info with pictures.
That said I don't know of an aftermarket version. This is going to be a pretty low demand part, doing a sunroof delete is a MASSIVE endeavor relatively speaking. It may be possible to have something fabricated that will serve the same purpose.
BTW I was just in San Antonio a week ago, grew up there as a kid
I would just make your own, any Bodyshop should be able to do it. Crazy that the overall top can still be had for dirt cheap (mine was $125) yet the support is not available.
I haven't seen a conversion since they went NLA though.
