Why would you want to put a sunroof in a R1?
I wouldn't recomend it unless you don't mind your car getting hacked up and shooting the frame rigidity all to ****. Trade it in for a touring if you want a sunroof.
My .02

BTW next time post this in the interior/exterior/audio forum

You're just mad because I got the clutch

I wasn't planning on spending the money to convert mine, I know of better ways to spend the money. It's 4 am and i was just wondering if anyone has ever done it.

Haaa I'm not that bitter. I just get a new one instead of your Poo Poo used one.
Don't lie you know you were all about a sunroof! Great thread in the 3rd gen section BTW.

I've had my car for about 2 yrs now. I got it my last year of college. My last semester of college I was on a 5 month unpaid intership 3000 miles from home (paying rent in cali is pretty hard with out a job). That pretty much drained me and that's my excuse for not having a lot of mods done to the car. Also due to the fact I want to make sure my engine lasts, i'm taking it one step at a time and doing it right.

I wouldn't trade my solid roof for a sun roof...I like waxing it and seeing it shine

It has been done.

I have a sunroof on my FD R1. It was already installed when I bought the vehicle and the price was too good to pass up.

Any other questions?

I've heard of people who claim that they have R1's with sunroofs on here before. One guy claimed that he liked the R1's, but he wanted a sunroof in his car and so the dealer installed it for him. So I would have to so it isn't impossible to find someone who has an R-1 with a sunroof (like MikeyP_FD), but it is pretty rare.

Wow, as if the R1 isn't rare enough!

I honestly wish it didnt' have a sunroof. Anyone wanna trade?

Just kidding! The car is cherry! I love it, and the Sunroof is great especially now that I can't get the AC to work... GRRR...
