Phone mount recommendations for an FD

I’ve been using a ram mount on the jp3 ball mount. It puts the phone in the perfect position. I have the phone cable tucked through the center console and it hides nearly. Ram has different length arms as well if you like it positioned higher. Bonus, you can get a cup holder to interface too.

i was in the process of making a phone mount for myself way back then but i never really followed through.
i do have the concept ready, designed prototype ready but it would require you to get a quadlock case
it will mount in the cigarette lighter socket, will Swivel and be height adjustable so you can set the location to your liking
If this is something you would be interested in let me know i can share some pictures
i have been using the quadlock system for 6 7 years and I absolutely love the system

It’s not for everyone, but I can see what you mean. Vent mounts are a no go for me. Not interested in stuff flying around the cabin in the event of a collision. I did flip the adjuster around and there’s plenty of room. I would be less worried with your shifter than if I had a passenger airbag to smack the mount. I will say that shifter of yours is neato dorito though.
