Oil Filter Pedestal Replacement.

Just after some feedback from anyone who has replaced there OEM pedestal with a billet one to take oil temp and pressure sensors.
In my search I did see that SakeBomb sell a billet unit, Has anyone used theirs ?

Thanks In advance

It's a pretty simple part. They make quality products, I don't think you will have any issues going that direction.

I've had the Banzai oil pedestal for over a year now, it's been working well for me. There was some discussion about it here: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-gen-gene...estal-1143504/

Be sure to get a good quality oil pressure sensor. It's not common but some of the cheaper pressure sensors have been known to fail at high temperatures. Saving $50 or $100 on a cheap sensor isn't worth an oil leak.

Another method is to use these overpriced at $80 banjo bolt for the oil line from the filter.
I have drilled and tapped the stock banjo 1/8 npt to install a defi temp sensor.
For the pressure, they sell BPT to NPT adapter you can use on the stock sensor location on the iron.

Yup, I use the Corksport one for temp sensor, no pressure sensor since the stock one work just fine.

I have actually been looking at the RE Aminya banjo that does temp and pressure.
worst thing is shipping to Australia 🇦🇺
I like the replacement pedestal as I have always had a pet hate for sandwich plates.
for now definitely looking further into making a banjo or the RE Aminya unit.
