Oil Presure

Just wondering, is 10-15 psi ok at idle when the car is hot? Car has 55-60 psi at about 3 grand.

Thanks.

EEEKKKKKKK

Wrong oil and radically wrong filter.

Use the Mazda OEM oil filter (it is the best for the money) and you should be using either 10W30 or 20W50 oil (depending on starting and operating air temps- read the FAQ for FC sticky thread for more details).

Try using the right oil and filter first, but if you find any filter or sludge material in the oil when you remove it, you may have clogged lines, a bad pump, or other issues that sometimes happen when using Fram filters on high rev-ing vehicles.
