oil filler tube center housing pressed fit?
Hello all,
Question,
Rebuilding an engine, is the oil filler tube (metal) pressed fit into the center housing? Is it a shrunk fit? How does one remove that tube? Heat? The engine center housing I am rebuilding does not have a tube pressed into that housing at all, it's just the housing iron.

yep its just pressed in there. getting the oil one out is pretty easy, you can tap it with a hammer. i do find that when you pull an old one out, putting it back it can be pretty loose, so a little sealant, or if you have some way to expand the pipe a little
