Does the Centerhouse need to be straight up and down?

I was wondering if the turbo center housing has to be up and down? And also how do you rotate the intake housing? The exhause housing seems to rotate easily. This is a garrett turbo.

Thanks

You loosen the backing bolts of each housing to rotate, the oil ports have to be within 30 deg of vertical..Max
