picked up some CR Kai's last night. that bronze is super ugly haven't decided what color im gonna do but it's gonna be crazy.

I had to put on 6 layers of clothes just to take these pictures so you fool better appreciate these. lol

My idea of a crazy paint I'm gonna do to my next set of wheels. Solid black. Then splatter paint White, Neon Green, and Baby Blue over the black. I did just purple on my TII wheels. Wasn't quite the desired effect. (Just not bright enough) But with the new colors it should pop.

Yeah man, I'm about to get rid of my CR Kais I think. They were temporary anyway until I find my Advan RG-IIs in the size and offset I'm looking for. I cant wait to see what gay sparkly color this guy ihavetwins is going to make those poor wheels.

I was thinking the same thing lot's of CR kai's ***** getting played out rollin around but my buddy sold them to me 1000 with tires. I was looking to get a second set of wheels anyway so it worked out.

lol that would be crazy but..... we will see im honestly thinking of doing a normal color just cuz i have set of crazy wheels. it's gonna be awhile before i get them powder coated so i may change my mind by then.

 

This was ALL the rage back in 1987...
Almost all mini-trucks around had some kind of splatter paint on them... it was on the hood or tailgate or on the interior plastics or wheels etc..etc...

Ahhh... funny how trends seem to recycle themselves....

I know... I know.... I'm showing my age BUT it's just funny to me how things are coming round again....

Ive got so many tires in my garage I decided to throw on the pair of 295's and 255's just to get an idea where I stand. The stretch came out really well.

With them on it looks like I can go down to almost no negative camber, and maybe a 315/265 tire combo.

Yeah id ideally like to get some fat tires in the back. Just thought id see how the 295 would be on the 13" rim. With the 2.5 degrees of negative camber and the stretch from the 295 I have easily an inch maybe inch and a half between tire and outer fender lip.

The picture makes the rims look like they stick out alot more then they actually do, if I had more room to drop the coilovers I could tuck the rim no problem

yeah im diggin it... lets see more pics!! Got any pictures of it being done? If that's all "stretch" with a roller and body work (no additional materials laid over top) I'm really impressed.... just dont know how that would work with the inner fender and all

 

i agree lol.. i dont think ur FD would be the same with just normal color. yours is definitely what made me want to get RGII's and get om powdercoated Fzero blue or something similar to of the te37's special blue. im sure you'll do something cool


20b. what are your rear wheel offsets.. u said its a 18x13?
