those sakebomb's headlights are pretty nice! Too bad I already had turn signals retrofitted with hid projectors.

Was wondering if this was the original purple heart rx-7. Checked on Speedhunters and indeed it was. Looking sharp Bruce! Anyone hook you up with some tires yet?

Not pics of the car as a whole, but a glimpse of what is to come...the new shoes. I'm going to test fit them in a little bit and I'll take more pics then. The tires came in last night.

I took them to get the tires mounted last night and the kid put one of the 295/30s on a 9.5 and put a 255/35 on a 10.5 and was complaining because he couldn't get the bead to seat. And this is what he does for a job...yikes. But they fixed it and this is what I got back.

I really like the XD9s as well and I almost got those back when I bought the RPF1s originally, but the Enkeis were cheaper haha.

Thanks! Yeah Rich talked me into the AD08s haha. I was torn between those and the Hankook V12 Evo because it was so much cheaper and got just as good reviews, but some said they started losing grip after a couple thousand miles. Oh well. I love these AD08s haha.

So I mounted them on the car with Shine's wide front fenders to test fitment on everything. First thing I noticed, this needs to come WAY down, like an inch in the rear and probably 1/2 or 3/4 in the front. I also need spacers in the rear. My RPF1s were +15 and these are +22, so ideally if they made a 7mm spacer I'd be all set haha. However, I'm thinking maybe 5mm, but I'm also wondering about 10mm. I think I'll probably go with 5 though. What does the jury think? I'm also still torn on the fenders. I think the passenger side is slightly not as wide as the driver's, but at this point I might be splitting hairs haha. Oh, and before I mounted them I noticed some gouges on the inside of the wheels...all the way around...on all the wheels...not happy.

so sexy.... I'd say 5mm in the rear... 2mm really isn't going to make that much of a difference. No one will ever see those gouges, **** I can barely even reach that far in to clean that part of the wheel. The AD08's are nice, I'm considering them for my next set of tires.. But I love my Dunlop star specs. They grip extremely well.

Yeah I was thinking 5mm would probably be enough, but 5mm is so small it probably wouldn't make a difference if I put one on there at all so I still go back and forth between that and 10mm HAHA. Yeah I know no one will see the gouges, but it still pisses me off because I know it's there haha. I would have looked at Dunlops more but they didn't have the sizes I wanted.

Actually, I can't stop thinking that it would look even better with Sanai fenders on the front . Just how much work was it to get them to fit? lol

Did you get them with the tires mounted already?
