eh i'll have to agree to disagree with you on that one
posting up decals on your car of parts you actually have and also funny stickers you find that apply to you and your car are just a part of the personality of you and your car
the euro guys actually adopted it for the original JDM style of doing it and thats the style im going for with the car, an american tribute to those crazy japs
but hey i'm young and stupid, decals are a fun way of spicing up the car and as long as the car is super clean and you're promoting things that you actually have...why not lol
plus the more hateration the better

Not my car, but I basically built the damn thing so close enough......... this is Supernaut's FD, complete with newly installed Ichiba V2 spacers (15mm F, 20mm R). I braved the sub-zero temps to snap these
I'd like the ride height to come down a bit, but for the kinds of roads Andy drives on it he wanted it conservative for now. Car looks even better in person, I've been driving it a bit in the town by IRP and people have been snapping their necks

IRP 4 LIFE
Yea the car looked great when it was lower but I'm afraid to scrape the bottom of my Spirit R JDM parts mobile storage unit . The roads in the city can get pretty bad in some parts.

Hate to dig that up, but my good friend ran his plate like this for years untill cops pretty much told him to stop driving with it or they were going to fine him.
I still think it boils down to which cop notices/what stick is up his *** at the time

removed the original paint, painted it black, then had reflective silver vinyl lettering cut for it, then clear coated it. it looks perfect, like it came that way from the dmv. haha
the law says that you cannot modify a plate if it "...interferes with the legibility, angular visibility, or detectability of any feature or detail on the license plate or interferes with the ability to record any feature or detail on the license plate."
the plate is even easier to read than before, so technically this isn't illegal (in my state). i have my car out of state most of the time anyway, so i highly doubt anyone is ever going to question it. yeah, a FL cop might question it, but i don't think i'm going to have any trouble.
even if a FL cop wanted to give me **** for it, it's a non-criminal violation, and no points can be assigned. at most, they can slap me with a $25 fee, which can be reduced to $10 when i walk in and show them my unmodified FL tag. according to 2010 florida state laws.

i was thinking about painting my plates too after tom did his... except i think id paint it white and the letters black... im in NJ so i THINK i can pull it off... our plates are yellow (top) faded to white (bottom) and if you look around when u drive in nj some peoples plates aare actually so faded its white.. so im gonna try pulling off the "fadded" look... hahhaha

Nah dude you don't. I drive around alot in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn and Queens sometimes. My car did not appreciate it. I never have problems in Jersey except maybe speed bumps but in some parts of the Manhattan, Queens or Brooklyn its killer. Much worse than the trip to 5 pointz. I would love to have my car dropped a bit lower but its more important for me to keep the car safe than it is to look good at this point.
