Need Help Identifying this SMIC

Hey all!
So I spent a pretty penny on Japan Yahoo Auctions jumping the gun quite quickly on this "Mazdaspeed" SMIC which when I received the item doesn't have the "Mazdaspeed" plaque with the part number on it as well as the "Mazdaspeed" logo on top looks to be welded on rather than molded on (which from the pictures I've seen does look like its molded on). Anyways, I'm thinking its an ARC unit made to look like the Mazdaspeed one while they are the exact same unit pretty much but would like all of your opinions on it.

Also, I'm probably going to be taking a major loss on this but I do plan on selling this. I do not see ARC units go on sale much on RX7club so I'm wondering how much would one of these go for? Just trying to get some money back in case an authentic Mazdaspeed unit does come on sale one day.

This was found on the side where the Mazdaspeed Plaque should be. Tried googling the number but nothing comes up. Anyone knows anything about this?

Thanks in advance for all your help everyone.
JB

Looks like an ARC Super, which is their thicker race SMIC.

It unfortunately doesn't have the ARC Plaque, Is it common for people to remove that? And thanks for the info @Natey !

It may be FAMSPEED, but they're all manufactured by ARC.

Not sure what you have in it but for a stockish car that may not be such a bad alternative. Looks like it should work with the stock duct and intake...and most of the stock intake hose. A little clean-up, pull off the cheezy emblem and....

I figured the same thing. While i'm still trying to source an authentic MS SMIC, i'm going to get this one cleaned up, powdercoat the top black for a bit more stock appearance and keep it on the car until I get the MS one. Unless someone here wants to buy it from me right now
