Mystery FD
So, this is going back a few years ago (2002 lol)... but one day in Brisbane.. I was driving to work in a Mx6 turbo (about 150hp atw 😂
doing about 150km/h.. when a red RX7 FD came up beside me, barely breaking a sweat to keep up with me... then accelerated about 5m in front of me and then BANG 💥... huge flame out the exhaust, followed by a huge smoke cloud.
The sound alone almost required an underpants change...
by the time I drove through the smoke cloud he had disappeared up and over a long hill. (All of this happened in about 3 seconds)
Since that day I swore i’d get an FD With a massive turbo... and now I have achieved that, but wondering 2 things:
Anyone have any idea What the hell he was probably using to make it accelerate like that?? Anti Lag??
and
Who was that? Vaguely recalll the number plate bring something like ‘CTHIS’ (black background/white letters)
Hope not to bore anyone.,. But the acceleration and sound was terrifying 😶

I’m hoping to achieve the same thing... I’m running a GTW3884R with a 1.0 rest housing... would sell my soul for that kind of acceleration haha
