High Definition FD Graphic

Hi guys! Greetings from Morocco where I am heading up a university entrepreneurship program in Rabat.

While I didn't get the chance to bring the FD with me, I did have a personalized "technical spec" brushed metal plaque made of it which is now hanging on my wall. It's a great reminder of what I get to come back to when I return to the US.

The plaque is made by blackartgraphics.com out of the UK - I am not affiliated with them in any sense - and I thought I would share a few pics with you. I am super impressed with the quality. The plaque metal is pretty thick and it comes shipped with a very quality presentation box with hanging items. For a lesser cost - still a bit costly - you can have them ship to you a "standard" FD spec design, or for additional money, they will customize the plaque to match your car. That is the route I took.

Lastly, you have different size options available. I went for the 24" X 16" version which I love.

Enough said, here is the plaque:

I like the personalized touch of the VIN, color, and owner in the legend area! Sadly, they do not have a generic Mazda plate. So that would mean anyone interested would have to go the private commission route.

Looks like they do. Searched under “RX7”. But for some reason it didn’t come up using “FD3S” or “RX-7”. Looks like generic 16x24 is going to be about $440 U.S. plus shipping and VAT.

Thanks for digging deeper into the website, Sgtblue! I wonder why they didn't make it more visible? That's just odd!

Saw this thread briefly the other day, was like "that's cool!" but thought it was a stock FD. Didn't realize it's YOUR car with everything on it! That's really rad!

Hope you're doing well, David!

This is awesome and thanks for sharing! I'm definitely saving this link as I just might have to commission one of these for myself someday.
