I need information about the Mazdaspeed Carbon fiber look Dash:

Can anyone tell me how to distinguish a copy from a genuine mazdaspeed one?

Is there any logo on the back of the parts, and does the original middle part (over the transmission tunnel) is smooth or does it has a small beading next to the ashtray?

Far as I know, MS CF look panels are just OE hydro dipped in CF pattern. There might be MS part number sticker somewhere but I never looked into this as its only available in RHD setting.

Personal L.E. sage green perforated
Works Bell L.E. Team Orange RAPFIX II, flipper attachment
Sard fuel cooler (I might use this as a diff cooler for my 8.8")
The Dash hook came for free with the Okuyama Carbing frame brace!

I knew I was forgetting something:
I'm getting a Toyota 1GZ-FE 5.0l 48v 60* V12 for it, in a couple of days..(don't ask )
That has to be considered a rare "part".

Sure, its just "fake carbon". Do you have any clarification about the kind of number it should have? There are also 2 versions available, with and without that small beading:

On the pic i posted before (Post #683) the beading seems to be missing, and that pic is from mazdaspeed...

...both pics are from japan cars, so i'm not sure if there is another manufacturer (next to ms, perhaps RE-A), who also made these kind of carbon look dash...

Looks like there is no beading on the real thing.. Good thing you've mentioned As I'll be replicating this for the LHD for my SSM FD

Since i know of atleast one other person in the States with this part now, I decided to make mine even more rare and have it covered in carbonfiber. Here are some raw unfinished pics of it. Enjoy!

...after doing some research, it looks like RE-Amemiya ade these carbon fiber lookalikes, too.

In their actual lineup you can still find the dash and the heater surround, but not the armrest part.

The first of the 2 pics i've posted is also from the RE-Amemiya gallery, so my assumption is that at least the RE-Amemiya thing had this beading. On your pic is no beading, but the first pic i have posted was taken from an old ms parts catalog, and there is a beading...

I'm looking for some verification and detailed pics of the mazdaspeed parts.

perhaps at least ms made both versions, if you say there were 2 original panel part numbers...

I found it while i was going thru some boxes i was breaking down to take to the landfill. Lesson in this is to check all your boxes before you throw them out lol

I bought mine 9 years ago from HKS Europe for £200 w/o injectors but definatley it is more worth than that as they are very rare now

It is worth only as much as the buyer wants or needs it. I would not really value it as a part more than any other HKS or Greddy elbows, however for someone who wants a unique piece on their car it should be worth more than the standard HKS or Greddy elbows. Additional injectors in the throttle body elbow are kind of old school and not really needed these days. You could work out a way to make that a water/ Methanol injection elbow!
