What's sad is that a majority of the rare parts that date back 10+ years will fade into obscurity until no one remembers what they even were. Just looking at old Option magazines from years back I remember seeing stuff like Viper style front bumpers, rare non RE-Amemiya headlight kits, and etc. I'd bet there were a ton of small garages and part makers from that era that vanished into smoke along with their FD parts.

If I had to name two parts that I think are rare, just because I have never seen anyone have them let alone mention them in recent times (8+ years) would be the Greddy/Gracer wagon hatch and the Mazdaspeed R-Spec body kit. I've tried my damndest to trace the wagon hatch (I know, its a sick obsession ), and still find only a few old links and pictures. Then again, I haven't tried Yahoo Japan auctions...

Here's a pic of the Mazdaspeed front bumper:

it's quite funky looking

think of the rear hatch except a huge arcing bubble like thing

with a flat rear.. almost like an upside rear end of a boat..

i have pics in a magazine somwhere..

R-Magic PP Housings... I almost wish I kept them

memphisraines82, did you buy those from Gordon? The packaging looks exactly the same as how I did it (Gordon didn't even really take them out of the box as far as I know). If so, those used to be mine and Re-Amemiyas before.

They did indeed. I was thinking he said he purchased them from Ramy, but guess I was mistaken. They will actually be going on my red FD which I will be working on/restoring over the summer once I get home.

Not sure who you said, but it's not an issue either way. They arrived in great shape and have worked well for me. You've been on the forums forever and I know you are a stand up guy. I know what you mean about handling the power. I have 18x10's on both of my "high" horsepower FD's.

I'm pretty sure David Jerome and I will make it up to the Carlisl event this year, he says he's in on a road trip. I'll have to wait until it gets a little closer to confirm as the Army may tell me otherwise
