Just found this thread, and loooots of goodies, and some things I didn't even know existed... cool

and I think I have an interesting thing on my car, bought it from Japan for 6 years ago.. with knightsport front and side fenders, but the wing... looks like an overgrown oringal wing but... have NO idea what brand or so... guessing on Knightsport since the ECU also was a KS one




Anyone have a clue? only seen one more car with this wing, and that is from an old Jackie Chan movie

Wolf, your RX-7 looks SICK. I love that last pic! I usually like stock RX-7's but your bodykit looks awesome! Great Job!

I'm a little new to the rotary/rx7 stuff but I do believe I have some rare coilovers. Tell me if I'm wrong? They are Toms racing advox.

Ive always wanted to see that KS wing mounted, but is hard to find pics of FDs with it. A guy here has one that has just been sitting and he wants 75.00 for it i think. It could be a replica tho, but looks pretty good one. Ive always liked that one but idk if i can pull it off either.

Mine was mounted when I bought the car and not eveb thinking of replacing it

I haven't it bought it yet fellas. I'm keeping an eye out on it, but I will more than likely take a stab at getting it since it's still on YAJ. Just wondering if anyone else had seen it before. I knowwwwwwwwwwwww I've seen that design before somewhere, I just can't remember.

 

Hey guys just picked up another FD (97) it's got tons of nice goodies with it! I just put my 18" rays eins kahn2 rims on, she's got apexi n1 suspension, mazdaspeed wing, veil side mirrors, full original body kit (charge speed?) mazdaspeed 300kmh clocks, greddy guage pod, apexi pfc, profec b boost controller, half roll cage, recaro driver seat, knee pad elbow pad, RZ kick plate, greddy radiator, hks front mount, engine brace, sebon hood,trust intake, full hks exhaust from block back to twin exit exhaust! Ok some pics!

Ok it's getting to be crunch time for me to acquire this hood! Has no one seen this before? I keep getting this feeling burning into the back of my head that this isn't a Veilside hood and someone just added the stickers! I've seen this thing before somewhere, it's making me crazy!

 

If you like the hood and its good quality buy it.. who cares if its veilside or not?..

 

That's a quality hood for sure.

 

Not really sure of how much rare it is but here my RPS pressure plate with 6 puck sprung hub on a racing beat aluminium flywheel. It hold 475 ft/lbs of torque and i never seen other on any rotary forum!!

 

Did you snag that hood? I almost did.. until after really looking at the pictures you can see its quite oxidized and I couldn't bother paying to get it resprayed when it would have been $1100 from Japan for me.

 

Yea I did end up getting it and I wasn't too please. For some reason I didn't pick up on that oxidation. It's weird, it's like the weave is discolored under the gel coat so I'm selling it locally.

I did however get a FRP FEED hood it damned good condition, just need to get it painted.

 

Bah that's too bad.. It seemed pretty nice but the sellers comments and negative feed back lead me to really look into it.

 

Yea I missed all of that, lesson learned for sure.

 

Carbon fiber degrades from UV rays. That is why you have to clear coat it to protect it from the sun.
