That owner is my spirit animal.

If only there were some clips of it running. Even just the obligatory rotary idle during the beauty shots...

Plastic fasteners because its lighter than Titanium.

I had that thought too.
Bought Ti for structural/clamping loads, Aluminum for non-structural, skipped the Nylon because I was only finding non-flanged head bolts and I didn't want to run washers plus the bolts.

Really nice build. Very different, creative approach. Great vision. Very interesting.

Yeah. I'd like to see it running. I'd bet that it wouldn't roll as much for a given lateral force in a corner. With 14kg/12kg springs and 2387 pounds, this thing should stay pretty flat. I love how extreme the guy was on weight and love the way the body/fenders/brackets look inside the engine bay. I loved the plastic fasteners, too.

Love it

Love it when the guy said i cant believe he drove it here. Stop treating your fds like they are made of porcellon. These cars are not fragile and in my opinion stop worrying about milage and enjoy them.

I am hoping ninesixtwo will put up a build thread showing as much of what he did as he can. Hopefully he has pictures of the process.
