997 gt3 air brake guide

anyone tried to install/retrofit the GT3 Brake Air Guide Duct ?

pretty cheap $15 the pair

The brake cooling ducts are actually mounted to the front control arm on the gt3. They just snap onto it. Here are pics of the GT3 brake ducts.

I retrofitted these aftermarket upgrade Z06 brake ducts that have a wide flat spot in them so you don't damage the hose every time you turn the wheel:

Khan Racing also has a nice set of bolt-on brake ducts:

...still deciding how I will *actually* guide the air in - those DougRippie ducts look nice. What size is the hose? You have any install pics?

Peter, any pics of the C5 ducts installed? Just wondering where you had them source air from? I used to have ducting and backing plates on my old setup but the hoses went in next to the radiator to pull from the front bumper. Now that I've got p/s on the new car (and don't want to take it off) the hard line goes right where the ducts used to go on the driver's side.
