soryy if this sounds stupid but what if you were to weld your wastegate shut on the stock turbos what could happen. someone told me that i could do this but i'm not quite so sure.

 

you won't be able to control the turbo and you will have unlimited boost, which will make your engine blow and probably the turbos too but the engine will blow first.

You could get to 40-50PSI if you don't do any sort of control of the boost pressure
