Unique is just a word to make people feel special when their car looks like a kid got a hold of a paint gun.

Edit:
looking back at his car, I actually think he just typed FD3S into E-bay search and clicked, "buy now" on every ugly exterior part he could find. Euro tail lights are pretty unique now that I think about it.
I guess you guys are right... we should all get 99 spec front bumpers and throw on some 17 in Lm's.. Then we could all drive similar looking fd's! Yay!! ....NOT haha. throw some neg. camber on there so u keep your fitment but its still drivable without having to buy new tires after every trip to the grocery store lol

keep it up, you're on the right track for what you're trying to pull off!!!!

That's the Chargespeed full body kit.

Its the same kit of this poor two color rx7.
To be honest the kit is amazing but this two tone match is awful

Summit HEART you are not going to have much with camber adjustement. This adjustement actually PUSS the down half of the wheel out of the car. You need to pull the upper half inside in order not to damage the fender.

In my car the rear camber is 3,5, which is rediculus high. Although in some cases i scrub the inner fender!!!!
The usual camber is 0,7-1,1 for street and 2,2-2,7 for track. More than that its for drift purpose only.

Going to make a new center bracket for it though, so it brings the rear up to meet the plate.
You were supposed to take that black piece off, or cut it in the middle to fit the diffuser.

Ummm, As someone who has aftermarket body parts on on his car, I'm not criticizing non-oem modifications. Btw, if that was a shot at Andrew, his car is damn clean, who cares if it's been done before? Though, Andrew to really set your car off and make it "unique" I suggest having sailor moon air brushed on your hood.

What myself (and clearly others) are "**** talking", are modifications that harm the performance of the car (e.g. fenders that peel the sidewall off the tires, replica ebay headlights that don't even perform as well as the factory pop-ups, etc.) I don't know how someone with a car as clean as yours can defend such a monstrosity that makes FDs as a whole look bad. I'm flattered that you consider me to be the "head of what looks good", but I'm simply posting my opinion and do not consider myself an authority on the matter... You can choose to read it or ignore it. Though I should open a consultant business to help people mod their cars, it's clearly needed.

Ugly body kits and mismatched paint have nothing to do with the "pushing the envelope". The Rx-7 is a sports car, I find it hard to believe that any of the respected authorities on Rx-7 performance (eg: RE-Amemiya, Knightsports, Panspeed, R-Magic, etc.) would have anything positive to say about the cars I have criticized.

I wasn't offended, i was just surprised that MannyKilla mentioned all those things, and ironically they all happen to be on my car? My goal is to have a clean car but not necessarily unique. Ive spent a long time (over 15 years and one marriage) building this car to where i want it and i'm almost there. Just need some Spirit R seats to bring it home.

No room.... since Im going for the Trans Am Look, the screaming chicken will take up most of the real estate on the hood

Hey man, Honest to god I didn't mean to offend you at all and in doing so i'd pretty much be the biggest hypocrite.. I apologize for that post. Had nothing to do with your car at all...your car looks very nice,....the response was just in regards to scrub (aka ********) lol. Keep up the posts everyone, I love this thread

summit what are your wheel and tire specs? could get the fenders pulled a bit more and be fine without adding more neg camber.

I think rich would be able to help change it

While I agree that Dan can sometimes be a dick , that car is an absolute MONSTROSITY!!! Dan and I are good friends, but NEVER agree on aesthetics (he can attest). We have absolutely opposite tastes, but that car is blasphemously ugly. Sorry, but Dan's right. I gotta join the "hater camp" on this one I'm adamantly opposed.
