Not only was it black interior only, but it came with suede seats, stiffer suspension, R1 strut bar, and dual oil-coolers instead of 1.

weird... i have dual oil coolers... so maybe they just added that on there? damn i feel like a noob now LOL what a bad one!!

ok so it's a Touring!! haha i just did a quick wiki search... no moonroof on the R1's so i guess ur right!

damn... noob me.. shows you how much i still have to learn about these cars.

dual oil coolers and leather so who knows... i guess its just a regular with a touring package. doesnt make me love it less.

thank you btw!

edit:
it could be some sorta hybrid of the R1 because it was a car that was completely rebuilt off diff ones since it was an auto when first purchased by the original owner...
then my mechanic and his work partner kinda built the car and they know what their doing so maybe the dual oil coolers is an R1 feature they decided to toss in there and got the spare from an R1...
who knows?

Several have added a second oil cooler on their Touring or Base models so it's not unheard of. With all of that aside though you have a nice looking FD.

switches are as follows, starting from the front back,

horn, strobe lights, antenna, nitrous purge.

it's kind of a show car... it has strobe lights and the nitrous purge which are useless but pretty cool nontheless

Thats the auto tranny cooler then. Autos had a tranny cooler on the passenger side in place of the oil cooler.

yea the car was at HIN Miami.. bought it like a month after the show. he had his green supra there too same band across the top "Xtreme Autowerke". very nice

and it's definitely a oil cooler now, not a tranny cooler cuz it runs the same as the other one.

enjoy! lemme know what you guys think!
Great looking FD, but 19" wheels look to big on a stock FD...A subtle body kit (side skirts mostly) might make the wheels look more proportional with the car.

The 19 inch wheels look great on a stock FD without any mods.

Already getting some Bilsteins and Swift springs (mildly stiffer). I can't find any opinions on these springs so I'll have to suck it up and be a guinea pig. It should help some, but I still want to enjoy my car on the street as much as I do on the track.

I brake late and am on the gas early. It's yields pretty good times, but occasionally comes back to bite you in the ***.

Trail braking at the end of the backstretch trying to carry some additional speed for the next uphill turn. Not a good idea.
