I say flat black with a red pinstripe around the lip. Plus annodized red lug nuts FTW!

What are your wheel specs, offsets please?

SiH,
I really like ur car, except that tire stretch on the back is ridiculous, I just don't get it. It looks like a toy now, has no function whatsoever, unless you don't like good handling...

It's a personal taste thing - it does serve a function: it allows me to fit the wheels in the style I like them, and get closer to the stance I love - i.e. with the wheel lips protrucing slightly past the bodywork. I want low offsets on a stock body - it's basically the only way to get that look without wing flaring.

I'm fully aware it's personal taste, and I'm fully aware most people don't like it, but I do, and I built the car for me, no-one else

It makes no detrimental difference to the handling whatsoever - I tend to find the people that say things like that are ones who've never driven on stretch. In fact, it actually makes the breakaway of the tyre a little more predictable

One thing I hate is seeing sweet wheels hidden away from view due to weak offsets. A guy on another forum once summed it up perfectly for me:

Anyways, it's a discussion that's been done to death a million times over. let's not dwell on it here

Sephiroth What hood is that? Where did you purchase it? Does it help with heat/heat soak?

yup exactly it's a Feed hood my friend! I would really like to answer your other questions, however I don't remember what the temperature was like before I installed the hood. I'm pretty positive that it does help get rid of the excessive heat but I wouldn't be able to say how effective it can be.

I'm not saying its not good for drifting. Yeah i admit, I've never ran a stretch, but by physics its gonna stiffin the rear tire alot more, your also running less of a patch on the road. Proving it takes away from grip. Sorry, not tryin to start an argument, I'm just sayin.

Anyways, I'm not hatin at all! Cause damn, I love your car... oh, and the MS1's

You got any engine bay/interior pics?

LOL I have the other sets as you mentioned being painted as we speak. I didn't like the way they turned out so, I'm having them painted again.

Took some data a few years back when switching from my stock Mazda hood to my Amemiya AD9. Coolant temps on my Power FC dropped about 3 to 5C while driving on the highway, a little less in stop and go city driving. Hope that helps.

P.S. Not sure if you're running the Power FC. If so, and your coolant temps are in the 220-230 range, you need to adjust the fan settings on your Power FC or back off a little and let 'er cool down, especially if your intake charge temps are 50C+. Just my .02.
