If you look a few posts in front of the original picture, its stated that he doesn't know the offsets. A friend did the setup for him and he's trying to find out the additional info.

Since he's running stretched tires, you can assume that it's probably around +35 to +40.

The only arguement I know to be true is the scrub radius / suspension geometry one, but that can be compensated for with a good suspension setup.
Not going to turn this thread into an argument about correct/ideal offsets, but when I say "ideal" it has nothing to do with wheel bearings. 18x10 +50 is ideal because you are able to run a 285/30 tire all around, also giving you the ability to rotate tires and run as much possible rubber all around. The +50 offset allows you to use stock fenders with little or no rolling, which many people do not want to do to their cars stock fenders.

The car in question with the CCW's is running tires that are too small for a 10" wheel and it also appears that his offsets are different front to rear, which would not allow him to rotate. If they were closer to a +50 he could run more tire without having to stretch to clear the fenders... maximum possible tire width on a wheel, with an offset that doesnt require mods to the fenders = ideal to me. Of course then you dont get as much lippage, which yes does look good, but is just not that important to me.

Just FYI, I run 18x9 +43 and 18x10 +43 with 255/35 and 285/30... This doesnt allow me to rotate (obviously) and I do have to slightly roll my fenders. Maybe that isnt an "ideal" fitment, but I do have the correct tire sizes, and I'm happy! Thats all that really matters anyway, be happy with YOUR car, **** the rest of em... right 24/7?

Typography, "too" is spelled with two o's. Another thing, ellipses (or suspension points) are with 3 dots, not 2 (...), I hate it when people do that, it makes it seem like they have never been in an English class in their life.

I already told you, I think your FD is clean, we are just giving you a hard time because of your Spirit R emblem.

Pics from before the theft...

And then it got stolen out of my enclosed trailer one day after an event...
More info here if youre curious and are willing to read --> https://www.rx7club.com/south-rx-7-forum-34/my-car-just-stolen-632334/

I got it fixed, repaired the damage from the theft, added some latches, gave it some fresh new blue paint and it JUST got back from the body shop two days ago.
