Question Midpipe Install tips...

What's up guys,

I'm stalling my Pettit SS midpipe tomorrow morning...any tips/advice from those who've done it before? Should I get new nuts and bolts? Can I reuse the gaskets?

Thanks,

I'd recommend new bolts, the stock cat has one bolt on either side welded on. Got new bolts and gaskets from www.rx7.com for about 25$.

Be prepared for the noise cause the midpipe makes the car loud as hell...very very drony too BUT the performance is incredible when the 2nd turbo kicks in!!!

id get new gaskets mine were bad, (i still haven't gotten them yet damn it), the bolts should be fine if you already changed your precat to a DP... just make sure you disconnect the air pump hose, and use vaselin to get the exhaust bracket out of the rubber piece....THen make sure the damn thing doesn't fall on you, oh wait forgot, you gotta take off that cross brace thingy, sorry for the lack of technical terms............
