Lightbulb Gauge cluster in the center speaker location!

To be honest, when I first got my FD I thought the center speaker location would be great for a 2 pod gauge location. First off, the center speaker is crap and has no real purpose...at least every sound shop I went to told me it was crap. Next, its really no further to "look" at than an A pillar pod SO...why doesn't someone make one!!

It could be rounded/moulded or even better it could retract into the dash and pop up when you needed it!

Its totally out of my league from a fabrication stand point but maybe someone out there can...I'll only take a 45% cut for the copyrighted idea!

'center' gauge pod...

There is one available. I have a picture of it at home, it is an AUTOMETER pod for a Mustang. I am at work now, so I can't send the pic, but it looks pretty good, seems to be a really good fit for this location.

Great pics

I really like the autometer but it seems "shiny"...I wonder if you could tone down the shine on that bad boy.

Now Hawaii, the 3 cluster has me interested but your car in the pic is a right hand drive???? Jap spec FD? Anyway, where did you get that pod!!!!!

I'm up for either one so you guys that have them give us the skivy!!! Was it hard to install??? Was getting to the center sp a PITA?

thanks!
