Yes My Car Runs!

Well I had tp pull start the car but I got it to idle at 1500rpm.

I tried to bring it under 1k to check timing but it conked out.

It was running a few weeks ago but I had to pull the turbo due to some major oil leaks.

Well It got checked out and the turbo was fine.

The turbo guys told me to get a smaller inlet to the turbo and make sure the Crankcase system is working right(no pressure inside)

Well I got a SS bradied 3an size inlet and left my oil cap on loosely to allow air transfer.

It runs pretty rough and shakey at low rpm right now but it revs pretty well now.

I drove it for the first time!! I went 3.5 miles!!!! W00t!!!
lol Only 1996.5 miles more to go!

So the exhaust is still smoking but I am ruling the turbo out now. It is either a rebuild still smoking or too much premix in my gas.

The clutch is pretty tight so I have to do some revs and mild drops to get it started but once moving it does pretty well.

Currently I have set the Apexi BOV tight so it doesn't go off.

I don't know how you tune the BOV. Can anyone tell me how? DO I adjust it to go off at a certain vacuum and hoiw would you tell?

THX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the way I did it probably wasnt the best but I just tightened it all the way down and then reved it until I hit boost and loosened it until it opened. Repeat until fine tuned

Should the BOV go off at every shift? or just when under boost?

Right now when I'm driving at 3k i'll shift and so far I don't show boost(I think my autometer guage might be broken).

Anyways. Since the car idled under 1k before the turbo sremoval I am guessing there's a vac leak some where.

Probably in the TID or maybe the home depot intercooler piping I did for tuning(replaces the TMIC while I tune idle)
