yellow/red wire

yellow/red wire

in the harness that comes out of my firewall(s4) bellow the steering column , a cut yellow with red striped wire is just hanging out, i looked at my schematics but i dont know what it does so hence i cant find it. ill try to get a picture up later .any ideas?

Too vague a descripton, although the oil pressure sensor wire is that color and is located on the left side of the engine bay.

sorry but thats about as in depth as I can get , no joke its just a wire hanging out under the steering column next to the speedometer cable .
beyond that anyone have a pic of the plugin location on the oil pressure sending unit im at a loss with a cut end an no clips
