Thats right i made semi solid monts, it has a stainless steel bushing, and rubber, to absorb the shock and shakiness

hmmm... I think all the weight will be on the metal. and nothing will touch the rubber.

I think what you really just made is very weak fully soild mounts :P

nope i tested your theory on a 50 ton press, i lesft room for the rubber to be pressed.

The stock bushings saparate the studs.
If you don't use this style, then you will transmit almost all of the engine vibrations to the chassis via the connecting bolts.

Yes.
Question, hot shot: what is the point of these? Mazda competition mounts are more than enough for street use, and for competition, why not use solid mounts?
It seems like a lot of effort for no reasonable gains.

because i was bored hot shot. i wanted to see how they would come out

i'm making ones out of aluminum some time this week hopefully, and i'm too ******* broke to afford new motor mounts, i have to goto college next year. it was basically a science experiment for me.
