wrong injectors?

wrong injectors?

just to cover all bases id like to make sure these are the proper injectors



88 na should be purpletops correct?

whereas the injectors in my car are red?

88 13B NA, high square offset, 460cc, purple, 195500-1350

86-87 13B NA, low square center, 460cc, red, 195500-1350

being that these 2 model numbers are the same, the only difference being their impedence, could somehow along the way they be switched up and lead to my car running like crap?

those appear red to me but sometimes get faded. get out your multimeter and check them. also, look and see if the notch is centered.

88 nt are purple top 460cc high impedance.

those appear to be red or orange

like said above check with a multimeter

ok so just tested em out




square offset 195500-1350 ending number



i also noticed the original owner installed an n326 ecu and i no longer have a resistor block on the car? could this be causing my problems?

it doesnt look like you are measuring them correctly. make sure are you are measuring in ohms, and put each probe on the 2 pins on the injector

deff on ohms (omega symbol) went through all 5 settings (2000k,200k,20k,2000,200) nothing gave me a reading anything close to what it should be given these are supposedly high impedence injectors. im thinking someone along the way removed the resistor pack when doing an emissions removal and the car has been running like crap ever since. just my theory, i just got the car and am slowly bring it back to drivability

unless he installed a low harness and low injectors (for what reason is beyond me) but the injector clip groove is offset not center and #1350 on the side?

Put the meter on ohms and touch both leads together and take a picture. Then post it.

No 88 ever had a resistor package nor a place for it on the EM harness. If there's no very large round elect plug on the EM harness just below the location of the air filter/afm assy, then that shows it's a 88 plus harness.

That injector should have read approx 12 ohms.

i guess it could be correct if you are measuring in kOhms
