Would putting in 1600cc injector instead of 720 be over kill or not funtional

After my dyno runs yesterday and some advice from people on the board, i have done some research and are going to try to make the engine more stable. So i am looking into getting the R-tek 1.7 chip. but you need to have minimum 720 secondaries. Well after checking Rotaryperformance. the 1600cc injectors are only like 2 dollars more than the 720. Now if i bought the 1600cc would i have problems with running rich or any other problems?? Cuz i also will soon be getting a Safc to tune my Walpro and what ever injector size i end up getting if needed.

Long story short. Would it be benificial to just pay the extra 2 bucks and get the 1600cc injectors and run them on a lower duty cycle or should i get the 720's?? im planning on taking this car as far as i can go with it

i think those would be overkill.

Even with an safc, you can't turn 1600's down enough.

1600 = standalone territory

You'd need a bigger fuel rail as well if I am not mistaken......I think the 1300cc's fit on the FC fuel rail.

Scratch that 1300, the Nippondenso 1300's are side feed, that means 13B-RE/REW series fuel rail drop ins........I am almost positive you need a larger fuel rail for the Bosch 1600cc's which are BTW only 99.00 at www.RX7store.net

You can modify them to fit.

http://home.mn.rr.com/linnihan/1600c..._injectors.htm

And buy them here
2x1600cc Bosch Injectors - $144 USD

I have also heard from someone on the forum that they did the modification for them.

Low resitance though? Would that work for a S5 ECU?
