Would the car run lean if i took out the 5/6 ports?

My car is an S4 na. mods are just K&N intake with a custom cold aior box and is currently running on premix. I was searching all day yesterday and couldn't find anything. Would my car run lean if i wired it open? Also would i get a slight decrease in gas mileage? If So how much? Thanks

No.

Also wiring open the ports wont give you any power gain but you will still lose torque in the lower powerband. If you really want to do it, do it properly and remove the whole auxiliary ports assembly.

You don't seem to understand, wiring the ports open wont yield ANY advantage.

Yeah, RBeater got it right. You won't see any gains in power anywhere with the ports wired open, and the car will be f***ed in the lower RPMs.

....Are you going to an aftermarket exaust, and trying to figure how to get your secondaries to open, since some aftermarket exhausts won't do that? Tell us what you're trying to accomplish.

i understand that it wont yeild any advantage but my ports are not working correctly thats y i'm asking you guy to see if it would run lean. I'm going to do a custom exhaust on mine pretty soon because of an exhaust leak.

all n/a rx7's run rich anyway.don't worry,it'll run a little less rich but nothing to be worried about.

how can you tell that the ports aren't working properly?it's pretty hard to tell.the best way to find out is to put some grease on the rods that activate it and go for a run.if the grease around the shaft shifted/moved then they are functioning just fine.wiring them open will only be a step backward.

No it won't, the auxiliary ports have no effect on mixture.

Air fuel mixture as based off of the AFM reading or the 02 sensor, nothing else.

Get some vacuum lines and an intake gasket set and do the job right.
