Is it worth it?
My rebuild guy gave me two options to make my car reliable (and run lol).
Option 1) We rebuild my whole motor, which has been down for about a month or two due to a blown coolant seal, and his costs for a good job would be about $2k.
Option 2) Rebuilt S5 motor with about 20k on it, it has headers and a water-jacket mod, it's "street" ported and makes around 200hp or so and would cost $1,600 and would take alot less time.
I have a source for a loan, my roommate, who can pay for either and I could have him paid off in about 4 months, and since I can't drive till July anyway cuz I have to wait 35 months since my accident I won't even be needing to drive anyway.
My question is, is it worth it?

hahaha is it worth it? wait for others to respond, but IMO id def jump on the streetported s5 motor for 1600. might as well get a rebuilt engine thats broken in with upgrades for less $ than a stock motor with a rebuild for more$.
