The price on a new or rebuilt master cylinder i will have to cheack but if your brakes are mushy then might need to check your rotors as well because they might be underspec meaning you have to push your pedal down farther to get the braking action.

I have a full reman calipers on all four corners (new pads included) with brembo rotors and SS lines my car can stop on a dime now. Pedal is nice and firm and never went past half way down my pedal to stop. I do a lot of mountain racing and this set-up is more then good for the kind of driving i do and i dont have abs.
