well ever sence i bought my 1988 rx7 gxl, s4(1987.5) n/a

the sunroof hasn't opened.... i bought the car off a lady who had to get rid of it because she bought a sunfire, and had the car parked for a year.... she said the sunroof worked before she parked it... so i was assuming maybe a little rust...

so i manually opened the sunroof, and one side came up... the other remained down.... i did, and i know i shouldnt have, but its done and i cant go back, i pushed the sunroof to help it open, and heard a snap... which i thought was the rust breaking... but actually it was the clip that connects the sunroof to the track.... the sunroof works now (on one side) but the other doesn't... turns out the cable isnt pulling it to open it... so the black piece that carrys the drivers side on the track, and the little flipper (both black pieces...) are broken...


does anyone know where they can find a replacement?
theres no salvage yards that have an rx7 anywhere close to me :-(
i dont have a digital ATM so i cant take a picture.... but i tried to describe it to the best of my ability...

can someone please help me out here... and grab one from a salvage yard for me?
ill pay whatever it costs+shipping....

is there a webpage that carrys new ones?
do you think i can pull it off and get a new one machined with something stronger?
like aluminum....


any help is very appriciated...
