Wiring/starting trouble.
I have had a wiring issue with my car for a little and finally finished rewiring everything.. When I attempt to start it the first time, I depress the clutch all the way while the key is still off, and the starter engages, release and it stops.. but wont the car wont run. weird enough i decide to see what happens with the car in the ACC and ON position. same thing happens. With the key in START position and clutch depressed the car starts and runs. release the key from the start position and it dies. I am pretty confused now..
i think it has to do with the black single wire connection off the starter but i am not positive.

black signal wire from starter goes to single spade connector under the trailing coil pack. it is located right next to the big wire harness connector for the driver side harness about 3 inches from the main battery/starter copper ground.

The Interlock Switch on the car, which prevents the car from being started w/o the clutch being depressed, has two wires running to it. One wire is Black/Red and the other wire is Black/Green. The B/R wire should only have voltage w/key to "start" and apparently yours has voltage constantly, which means the ignition switch is wired improperly. This would be one explanation for your problem.
