i have a Konig V-racing spoiler i ordered off jcwhitney.com awhile ago. ( 2-3 yrs ago. ) this is kind of a shitty picture but you can see how it mounted up. it kind of made me think it was made for an RX-7 on how good it mounted up to it. the picture is kinda shitty but you can see how it mounted it. ( kind of )
*NOTE* this was with my old 87 aftter i got rear ended.

What probably happened was someone saw the wing and was like......Oh crap look at the low flying spacecraft, lets hurry up and drive under it before it lands. But unfortuantely you dropped below 80mph and your car becan to descend thus causing the carnage displayed before us.
there is a reason they made the back of our cars so msall you can't mount a wing
because they are not ment to be there they are dumb and look absolutely horrible and just make you out to be some ricer boy and its a complete magnet for cops

Don't put a wing on there unless your car is a race car (or a hard-core track car), and it's allowed in your class.
Otherwise it's just gay.
Stock spoiler FTW...
Also, the difference between a spoiler and a wing is that a spoiler produces downforce basically by deflecting the air and trading off drag for downforce (sort of like putting your hand out a window and tilting it up and down to make your hand go up and down)...
A wing on the other hand is an upside down airfoil that uses the high and low pressure difference to create lift (Bernoulli's principle) in the direction of the ground. They create the same amount of downforce as a spoiler of the same size, but less drag.
So yes, they make lift... whether or not it's pointing up or down is irrelevant.
The bad part is that...they look stupid (or at least "way too much").
If you want discrete downforce, get a front lip, side skirts, and rear diffusers... this comes at the cost of ground clearance though.
