Windshield Wiper Wiring

Windshield Wiper Wiring
Ok ive been trying to get the wipers to work in my 89 TII. Car has no engine harness so I bought just the wiper harness that comes out of the engine harness. I plugs in fine to the wiper motor, but I cant find anywhere for it to plug in under the pass. side dash?? where does it plug in under the dash? Does it go to just another harness or does it run to a relay or something? Is there a difference between the s4 and s5 harness? Not sure what the guy sold me, I was under the impression that they were all the same. Picture of what it plugs into under the dash would be awesome.

The harness which plugs into the wiper motor is the Emission harness. This harness plugs into the Front harness at connector X-11(cnnector is Yellow and has 11 wires in its largest of two rows of wires) and this Front harness plugs into Cluster harness at X-18. This info is found in the S5 wiring diagram. And the Black ground wire from the wiper motor plugs into X-10 (connector is Yellow and has 6 wires in its largest row). Both X-11 and X-10 are found next to each other above the ECU. X-18 is found behind the gauge cluster. And the harness between an S4 and S5 are generally different in nature.

well I removed the wiper harness from the emission harness, it just has the wiper motor plug on one end and the large orangeish plug on the end that goes under the dash. I only have one female connector in the kick panel area in my car, and its yellow but not the right one for the wipers to plug into.

remove the passenger side kick panel and it should punch you in the face. if it's not there then someone may have hacked it off, if so find the bastard and shiv him.
yellowed(i suppose it was actually once a clear color), delapidated looking connector with 4 blue wires stacked at one end of it. connector X-11 is also considered part of the "emissions harness".

The colors are primarily the same except the Black wire which is the ground would go to a different connector than the one you eventually found (the one w/spots for 11 wires in the widest of the two rows). So, Blue/Red, Blue/Yellow, Blue/White match up the same. The caveat is on an S5 turbo wiper motor there are two Blue wires connected to it and your S4 plug only has one Blue wire so the empty spot in the S4 plug which connects to the wiper motor would need another Blue wire in that pin position and it would need to be spliced into the Blue wire that already exists in that S4 plug as it runs to the kick panel to mate w/X-11.
